Groen points to the “enormous responsibility” of the Flemish government under the leadership of the N-VA. “Flanders is lagging behind enormously with regard to its energy and climate objectives. The share of energy from wind and sun really needs to increase. Moreover, Flanders has the exclusive competence to take measures for energy saving, essential for a good energy policy. The shortage that Flanders now has should be an impulse to do better together, not to lecture others. Time to sweep in front of your own door, ”says Groen.
