Meyers Leonard, who recently did a private training session with the Los Angeles Lakers, has given an interview to the media ESPN where he has acknowledged that he hopes to get a second chance in the NBA after making headlines for his anti-Semitic comments while playing on his computer’on-line‘.
“Right now I feel like I’m in a bad dream,” Meyers Leonard noted. «In my body there is not a bit of hate. I made a terrible mistake,” he stressed.
Leonard admits to feeling one hundred percent after dragging various physical problems in the ankle and shoulder, and despite spending two years in the dry dock, he hopes to find a new team between now and the end of the year.
Selected by the Portland Trail Blazers with the 11th pick in the 2012 Draft, he has career averages of 5.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 16 minutes in 447 official games (93 starts).
