The Ministry of Health announced the installation of 8 modules en tourist and busiest places where medical attention and information on prevention and health care will be provided to visitors.
The Secretary of Health in Tamaulipas, Vicente Joel Hernández Navarro, mentioned that with the joint participation of federal, state and municipal agencies, as well as voluntary groups from each locality, the attention maneuvers for tourists will be activated during the vacation period that includes April 1 to 16.
Among the services that will be provided by the Ministry of Health, the attention of general medicine consultation is contemplated; detection of febrile patients to detect dengue, zika, chikunguya and covid-1; detection of patients with diarrheato rule out possible cases of anger, actions to promote health and prevent accidents; as well as injuries and burns solar the why “bad water”among other services.
“It is about coordinating prevention actions, supervising, monitoring and attending, where appropriate, any emergency situation that puts the health of tourists at risk during holiday periods such as Semana Mayor, which this year will activate the attention modules in the points of greatest influx of visitors”, he explained.
He said that the vacation care modules will be added to those that will be installed by some municipalities and will be duly equipped with medicine kits with 46 keys, healing material, blankets to identify the module, Kari Blair swabs, vehicles, among other materials such as triptychs.
The 8 modules are located in the strategic places of the entity such as: baghdad beachin Matamoros; Carbonera beachin San Fernando; fishing beachin Soto la Marina; Barra del Tordo beachin Aldama; Miramar beach in Madero; as well as in the convenience store, in Jaumave; at the Tourism offices in Gómez Farías and Nuevo Laredo.
