The North American Census detailed that for the first three months of 2021, Canada overtook China and took second place as a commercial partner of the United States, by exchanging a total of 150 thousand 825 million dollars, that is, 14.5 percent of the commerce of the United States.
In that sense, Canada exported a total of 79 thousand 556 million dollars to the United States, while US imports from the Asian country were for 71 thousand 269 million dollars for January and February 2021.
In third place was China, who generated a total commercial exchange for 148 thousand 181 million dollars; 113 thousand 368 million dollars in exports to the United States, and 34 thousand 814 million dollars of imports, that is, 14.3 percent of the trade of the United States.
