Mexico Siglo XXI Event: An Inspiring Gathering of International Figures and Scholarship Recipients

This Friday, September 1, the México Siglo XXI event is inaugurated, sponsored for more than two decades by the Telmex-Telcel Foundation.

The event will open with the Mexican National Anthem at 8:00 a.m. (Pacific time), to begin this day of conferences with the opening speech by Carlos Slim Domit.

The event will be attended by international personalities, from the world of politics, entertainment and sports, who will meet, at the National Auditorium, in Mexico City, with 10,000 students from different states of the country.

This event, aimed at more than 10,000 youngsters, Fundación Telmex scholarship recipients, will be attended by international speakers, such as the former Spanish president Felipe González, the Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, the tennis players André Agassi and Steffi Graff, the actors Will Smith and Tom Hiddelston, among other personalities.

It is an event for scholarship holders of the Telmex Telcel Foundation, it has been held annually since 2002.

1:15 p.m. Panel of successful women: Katya Echazarreta, Nuria Diosdado, Diana Flores, Paola Longoria and Elena Reygadas.

3:30 p.m. Jesus Guzman, comedian.

4:30 p.m. Will Smith, actor and producer.

6:15 p.m. Andre Agassi & Steffi Graf, former professional tennis players.

7:15 p.m. Arturo Elias Ayub, General Director of Fundación Telmex Telcel.
