MEXICO CITY (Reuters) – Mexico reported 311 new deaths linked to COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the total number of deaths from the disease to 219,901, as authorities seek to purchase more vaccines to accelerate the immunization of the population. .
Infections, meanwhile, rose by 3,632 compared to the day before, accounting for a total of 2,375,115 known cases, although the authorities have recognized that the real figure could be higher than reported.
