Mexico reports 1,743 new deaths associated with COVID-19

MEXICO CITY, Jan 26 (Reuters) – Mexico reported 1,743 new deaths associated with the coronavirus on Tuesday, bringing the total number to 152,016, amid a rebound in infections and deaths in the country that ranks fourth in the world in deaths from the COVID-19 disease.

The health authorities reported that, in parallel, the number of confirmed cases reached 1,788,905, with 17,165 new infections compared to those reported the day before.
