Mexico registers 1,309 COVID cases; 24% of the population has been vaccinated

With 1,307 new infections, the Ministry of Health reported that there are 2 million 598 thousand 821 estimated cases of COVID in Mexico.

On Press conference, Health reported that 223 thousand 507 people have died from the disease, 52 more than this Saturday.

There are currently 19 thousand 74 estimated active cases, 6% less than last week, authorities reported. One million 926 thousand 287 people have recovered.

At the national level, hospital occupancy of general beds is 12% and 14% of beds with ventilators.

This Saturday, 432 thousand 351 vaccines against COVID were applied. According to Health: 12 million 390 thousand 240 with full scheme and 9 million 246 thousand 7 with half scheme.

21 million 636 thousand 247 people have been vaccinated, this is 24% of the population.
