“We have chosen to make assisted returns in some cases, most of them voluntarily, but assisted returns are already being made to Cuba, to Honduras and we are going to start with Venezuela, which was one of the reasons why I was in Venezuela yesterday,” he indicated.

He acknowledged that at this moment if we have the arrival of 60 thousand Venezuelans per month, it is impossible for us to manage the journey well.

“The case of Venezuela is very important because simply in the month of September, so that you have an idea, 60 thousand migrants from Venezuela arrived in Mexico, in the month of September alone, 35 thousand migrants from Guatemala, 27 thousand from Honduras,” he stated.
