Mexico applies 994,822 doses of COVID-19 vaccines; total 66.7 million – El Financiero

Until the last cut, Mexico applied 994 thousand 822 doses of the vaccine against COVID-19, bringing a total of 66 million 712 thousand 486 inoculations, the Ministry of Health reported this Saturday.

Of the total people inoculated, 25 million 727 thousand 786, equivalent to 55 percent, have a complete vaccination scheme and 21 million 138 thousand 339, 45 percent, with a medium scheme.

Meanwhile, with the latest arrival of vaccines, the country has received a total of 86 million 439 thousand 145 doses since last December 23, 2020.

During this week, Mexico received 7 million 411 thousand 750 doses of the COVID vaccine, of which 993 thousand 330 were from Pfizer, 3 million 604 thousand from AstraZeneca, 814 thousand 420 CanSino and two million from Sinovac.

The country registered 18 thousand 809 new infections of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, which adds to this Saturday two million 848 thousand 252 accumulated cases.
