6,470 new cases were also confirmed, so that there are already two million 151 thousand 28 people who have fallen ill from the virus, since the beginning of the epidemic.
However, it is estimated that 46 thousand 388 (2%) are active cases of COVID, due to presenting symptoms in the last 14 days.

Record day in vaccination against COVID
Of the more than 3 million 779 thousand 969 doses of vaccine applied, 607 thousand 589 correspond to complete schedules (two doses).
The Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell, stated that this Wednesday, March 10, was the day with the highest number of doses applied, more than 360 thousand.
He even pointed out that they hope to be able to apply about half a million daily vaccines when shipments of larger doses arrive.
