Record day in vaccination against COVID

Of the more than 3 million 779 thousand 969 doses of vaccine applied, 607 thousand 589 correspond to complete schedules (two doses).

The Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell, stated that this Wednesday, March 10, was the day with the highest number of doses applied, more than 360 thousand.

He even pointed out that they hope to be able to apply about half a million daily vaccines when shipments of larger doses arrive.

At this rate, they estimate that all older adults in the country will be vaccinated by the end of April.

This Thursday, 208,330 were applied to the cutoff at 4 in the afternoon.

So far, 590,000 first-line health workers (72%) have received both doses; while two million 338 thousand 208 older adults have already received their first vaccine.
