Mexican soccer will stop, after the violence in Corregidora

MEXICO CITY, March 5 (EL UNIVERSAL).- Liga MX has decided to suspend the rest of the matches on Matchday 9 of Clausura 2022.

After the brutal acts of violence presented on Saturday at the La Corregidora stadium, it was decided not to continue with the activity of both Liga MX, Liga MX Femenil and Liga de Expansión MX.

During the Querétaro vs. Atlas game, acts of violence that began in the stands did not take long to reach the field and this initially caused the game to be suspended.

What games will not be played this Sunday?

Liga MX: Pumas vs. Mazatlan, Pachuca vs. Tigres and Xolos vs. San Luis

Women’s MX League: San Luis vs. Puebla

MX Expansion League: Tlaxcala vs. Leones Negros
