The National Electoral Institute (INE) of Mexico announced that it will go to the legal authorities to defend its budget after the Chamber of Deputies approved this Sunday a reduction in the resources of this body for 2022.
The INE will take “the institutional decisions it deems appropriate and will promote the legal actions to which it is entitled within the framework of our Constitution and our laws,” warned Lorenzo Córdova, INE president counselor, through a video posted on his social networks.
