Mexican-American actor Adan Canto dies at 42 from appendix cancer: Career highlights and impact on the entertainment industry.

Mexican-American actor Adan Canto, who rose to fame in 2016 for his role in the series Designated Survivor, died at the age of 42 after battling a type of cancer that he kept private from the public.

Adan Canto, a performer originally from Coahuila, Mexico, who lived much of his life in the United States, has dedicated himself to the entertainment industry since 2009. Some of his most recognized productions are I Present You to Laura (2010), X-Men : Days of Future Past (2014) and Cleaning Lady (2022).

Through a statement received by Deadline, Fox and Warner Bros. announced the death of the actor:

“Our hearts have been broken to learn of the death of Adan Canto. A wonderful actor and dear friend… It is an unfathomable loss, and we mourn alongside his wife Stephanie, his children, and his loved ones. “Adam will be greatly missed.”
