According to what was reported by Univisión, Arturo García’s son confirmed that the cause of The actor’s death was due to a consequence of lung disease chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) that I had a few years ago.
“It is true that it was COPD. Unfortunately it was very fast. Thanks to ANDA, which reacted when it could and helped us (…) Jorge (Ortiz de Pinedo) was present there, looking forward to it and helping as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it was a respiratory arrest and he didn’t arrive, but I know he left peacefully,” said the actor’s son, as quoted by Univision.
Furthermore, he added that, “We are going to cremate him and I know that he always wanted to know the world and my mother, my sister and I have the option to do that, to take it with us and I hope, at some point, to put it in some beautiful place, somewhere on the planet where it can stay forever.”

Florinda Meza: Well, of course!
