The Mexican actor Adan Canto died this Monday at the age of 42, as his representative, Jennifer Allen, confirmed to CNN this Tuesday. Canto, who starred in productions such as X-Men, Narcos and Blood and Oil, was privately battling appendix cancer. His best-known role was as Aaron Shore in the television drama Designated Survivor.
The actor has been honored by Fox TV, the network in which he played gangster Arman Morales in the series The Cleaning Lady. “He will always be our Arman. Adan Canto, your memory will be forever. We cry with Adan’s family, friends and fans,” Fox posted on his X account – formerly Twitter – this Tuesday.
A native of Coahuila—although he lived much of his life in Texas—he developed his career as an actor since 2009, when he appeared in two episodes of the series Estado de Gracia, on Mexican public television Once TV. Canto also developed a career as a musician with songs like It costs me to live or Háblame de Amor.
