Meurthe-et-Moselle / Gironde. Homeless father finds his 14-year-old daughter in Nancy thanks to social networks

Patrice Perez, a 64-year-old homeless man, found the trace of his daughter Aurore, whom he had not seen for 14 years, and in a week, thanks to a call launched on social networks indicates L’Est Républicain.

It was a resident of Lesparre-Médoc, Christelle Quillet, who held out her hand to the man while he was wandering in this village of Gironde at the beginning of last week.

Christelle and her friend Virginie wanted to help Patrice find emergency accommodation. And upon striking up a conversation, the two women learned that the homeless had a daughter he hadn’t seen in over 10 years.

They first launched a Leetchi kitty to get funds to pay him hotel nights because homeless centers in the area were full. Then, they decided to help him to try to find the trace of the lost girl.

Christelle and Virginie published a message on social networks quickly relayed by many Internet users.

An anonymous message then communicated to the two benefactresses the contact details of Patrice Perez’s daughter who lives in Nancy in Meurthe-et-Moselle.

Immediately contacted, Aurore also confirmed that she had also been looking for her father for 14 years.

Christelle and Virginie organized, thanks to the funds raised by the kitty, a train trip to Nancy where Patrice was able to find his daughter Aurore on Sunday evening.
