Kylian Mbappe sparked a riot at the end of the Metz vs . match Paris St. Germain. Metz coach Frederic Antonetti was not impressed by Mbappe’s attitude.
PSG managed to beat the host Metz 2-1 in the continuation of Ligue 1, Thursday (23/9/2021) early morning WIB. Metz frustrated Les Parisiens after leveling the score through Boubakar Kouyate late in the first half. However, PSG finally came out victorious thanks to Achraf Hakimi’s second goal at the end of injury time.
After, Hakimi rattled the goal, Metz Mbappe ran towards goalkeeper Alexandre Oukidja who fell down disappointed. The 2018 World Cup winner is believed to have mocked Oukidja before joining the PSG squad to celebrate their winning goal.
Oukidja then tried to confront Kylian Mbappe Then Neymar pushed him to the ground. A number of PSG players then tried to calm Oukidja before the situation escalated.
Antonetti responded to Mbappe’s provocation in the match. Even if Antonetti’s claims about Mbappe’s poor game proved inaccurate.
“Kylian Mbappe should behave differently if he wants to be loved,” said Antonetti. “I like this player, he is very, very strong, but he will benefit from being more humble.”
“In the game he was barely visible. It happened when he didn’t have room.”
Kylian Mbappe did not score or create assists against Metz. However, Mbappe did not play badly as he made three attempts and created four chances, more than any other player in this match.
