The context
After a first part of the championship ended at the top of the standings and an honorary title of autumn champion acquired in Rennes, OL must assume its new role. Twelfth in the standings, they are slowly but surely advancing towards maintenance and already have more points than at the same time last season. However, the Garnets are still fishing when it comes to facing the champions of the championship. Whether against OL, Lille, PSG, Monaco or Rennes, Metz has failed to take a single point.
