In Denmark, mouth bandage requirements were again introduced on shops and public transport on Monday, following rising corona infections in all regions.
The rules were proposed by the government on Wednesday last week.
Nevertheless, the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen was refreshed on Friday not wearing a bandage, ie five days after the new restrictions came into force.
The Prime Minister was caught on video when she was at the clothing store Thi Thao, which according to Danish B.T. sells luxury fashion.
The video was published by the Danish newspaper Extra Bladet Saturday morning. According to the newspaper, the recording must have been made around 3pm on Friday.
For lite, for sent
Lies down flat
Shortly after, Frederiksen lay flat in a post on Facebook.
– It was simply an oversight after the new rules were introduced, the prime minister writes.
– I know very well that this can happen to anyone, but preferably not me. I apologize, of course, and would like to thank you all once again for what we do together to keep the infection down, she continues.
Risking a fine
By not using a face mask, for example in a store, you can, according to the Danish prosecuting authorities, risk a fine of 2,500 Danish kroner.
In the first instance, it is the stores’ responsibility to enforce this. Ekstra Bladet has been in contact with the store in question, which does not wish to comment.
