Rihards Ozoliņš, the midfielder of the Latvian football super league team “Metta”, will continue his career in another unit, the club reports.
Ozolins is a “Metta” student-record holder with the most games in the master team. He has played 114 games for the Metta team, scoring a total of four goals. Last season, the 20-year-old had 24 games and two assists. At the end of the contract, the young footballer will try his hand elsewhere.
Also, there will be no legionnaires Baba Musa, who has joined the Riga team, and Ikuto Gomi, as well as local footballers Roberta Ķipsta, Dmitrija Zelenkova and Krister Lūsiņa, who have returned to Valmiera.
The Metta team took seventh place in the 2021 Premier League tournament.
