Metrovacesa has started the commercialization of Residencial San Marcos, your new promotion in Santiago de Compostela and one of the main urbanizations of the city. It has 64 terraced houses of 140 m2 each and with three or four bedrooms. The company will invest 13 million euros in lifting this project.
The urbanization, with views of the Cathedral of Santiago, it will have large common garden areas, two paddle tennis courts, two swimming pools and a mini social club. For the development of this project, one of the most important of Metrovacesa in Galicia and also the largest urbanization within the Galician capital, the company will make an investment of 13 million euros.
The developer thus aims to improve the supply of new construction housing in the city and promote the development of the environment in which it is located. Specifically, the San Marcos neighborhood on which this residential complex is projected, began to develop 15 years ago and in the area currently live about 50 families in single-family chalets. In this sense, the launch of Residencial San Marcos is a milestone of great importance for the city’s real estate sector, since it will enhance the urbanization and auction of one of the main access areas to the city.
Residencial San Marcos is located five minutes from the city center by car and just 4 kilometers from the two main industrial areas in the city, the Tambre Industrial Estate and the Costa Vella Industrial Estate. It also has all kinds of services to its surroundings such as various schools, shopping malls, hospitals and health centers. In addition, its location also stands out for the excellent connection to the main entry and exit routes of the city, with access to the AP-9 within 800 meters.
For the project design, Metrovacesa has once again opted for a local studio, Díaz & Díaz Arquitectos, who has more than 35 years of experience in the Galician community in residential, office and rehabilitation projects. This study has been recognized on numerous occasions with different awards and they are the authors of recognized projects in the community such as the Business Incubator of the Papagayo Boulevard in A Coruña.
