Metropolitan municipal councilor, who is also a member of the Traffic Safety Commission, was involved in an accident and tried to flee the scene. The incident happened yesterday evening at “Dragan Tsankov” and “Kiril Vidinski” streets, reports Nova TV.
The disaster was minor, like the dozens that happen every day in the capital.
The incident was reported around 21:00 yesterday in the Fourth RU of the SDVR. Eyewitnesses reported that an Audi car entered the oncoming lane and hit another car. Witnesses of the accident followed him to Elin Pelin Street, where he parked his car.
The police officers who arrived at the scene established the identity of The 43-year-old driver.
According to witnesses, the driver apparently consumed alcohol but refused a breathalyzer test and narcotic substances
He is a municipal councilor and a member of the traffic safety committee.

The PP also states that will accept without hesitation the resignation of Blagovest Georgiev from the position of municipal councilor.
