The Metropolitan Municipal Council again failed to elect its chairman. As last week, PP-DB-SS candidate Boris Bonev and BSP candidate Diana Tonova appeared in the runoff.
And again, none of the two candidates for the second most important post of “Moscow” received the required 31 votes.
PP-DB-SS candidate Boris Bonev received the solid 23 votes, and BSP candidate Diana Tonova also remained with the familiar 9 votes.
There were 12 invalid ballots, and the municipal councilors who voted – 44. The municipal councilors from GERB did not participate in the voting.
The next attempt to elect a chairman is on November 30.
