Anton Battesti, number 2 of the Meta France group (ex Facebook), will be in Villeurbanne this Tuesday, February 21. He comes to inaugurate the very first academy of the metaverse on the territory.
Created in partnership with Simplon.co, this academy aims to train around twenty students free of charge in the professions of designer of immersive technologies and metaverse support technicians.

Officially, this pilot program aims to respond to “business demand for emerging skills and professions related to metaverses”. But it is also, and above all, for the Gafa to create skills to try to boost this internet of the future.
