“When the town hall suggests that we are managing the club badly and that it gives a bad image of our members, I cannot accept it”, confides Pierre Multon, president of AS Bron until the office be amended in June.
The general assembly was very stormy on June 10th. The City criticizes the club for paying allowances to volunteers: without supporting documents, paid even during the covid break, they could be like disguised salaries. In order to avoid a control by the Urssaf, the City proposed to AS Bron to dissolve then to create a new club. The old and new members of the office see in this proposal a pretext to “take the reins of the club”.
The proposal of a buyer sows trouble
Pierre Multon, then president of AS Bron, wants to go back to support this suspicion. He would have learned in May 2020 that a buyer was interested in the club.
