Metro line B free again after collision between metro and trailer

A metro has hit a trailer on President Rooseveltweg in East Rotterdam. No injuries were reported, but the damage is extensive. Due to the collision, there were temporarily no metros between Graskruid and Hesseplaats. The route is now free again, the RET said.

At about 6:30 a.m., a subway train collided with a trailer trailing behind a car. No one was injured in the collision, but the trailer and its contents were badly damaged. Travelers who were on the metro were escorted outside.

The accident disrupted the timetable of metro line B. There are no metros between the Graskruid and Hesseplaats stops. The route has now been reopened, the RET reports. Travelers should, however, take delays into account.
