“There is a discrepancy between the real reasons and the reasons given for my exclusion. The real ones are that I called the authoritarian leadership. … Now I am excluded that I did not attend the meetings of the Sofia Municipal Council. I have no punishment from the municipality. What happened – the SJC of Magdalinchev, Tsatsarov and Geshev failed to dismiss me from the judiciary, “Yes, Bulgaria” fired me from “Yes, Bulgaria”.
This was stated before BNR the former judge, now a municipal councilor in the Sofia Municipal Council, Metodi Lalov, who was expelled from Yes Bulgaria after resigning from the party.
“There were problems in terms of communication not only with me, but also with the other members, ignoring anyone who was active, which was not approved by the management. All this led to an escalation of tension. Of course, that clientelistic approach…. “Half of our group of municipal councilors from” Democratic Bulgaria “is in some funds, where 4,000 levs were taken for 1 hour of work per month. After my intervention, when I opposed all this, they took 2,000 levs for the same,” Lalov commented. .
He recalled that in early 2020 he opposed the so-called “Coalition of the table” in SOS:
“I saw that what was being said in public and what was practiced in” Democratic Bulgaria “had nothing to do with it. I started criticism – first of all internal. I was shown that this would not happen and I would just suffer. I came to the DB to hold any position, so I had to oppose it publicly. “
Lalov expressed the opinion that Hristo Ivano and Antoaneta Tsoneva consider “Yes, Bulgaria” as their project, in which “they must slaughter and hang”:
“They are founders with hundreds of other people. Yes, Bulgaria belongs to Christian Takov, Manuela Maleeva and hundreds of other people, not Tsoneva and Ivaylo Mirchev – they are a function of these people.”
According to him, the leadership was in a hurry to expel him from “Yes, Bulgaria” so that he could not express his criticism of them at the national conference for the election of a leader, as all bodies in the political formation have expired a year and Hristo Ivanov resigned after the poor result of the DB in the last parliamentary elections.
