It was later revealed that three trucks loaded with straw had been stopped at the pass. According to the owner of the trucks, it was probably arson.

Krasimir Donchev – head of the Kazanlak fire department, said: “The gas station, which is located near the fire, was saved. The tugboats saved themselves, they were detached from the trailers.”
