A member of the General Meteorology Authority’s Media Center indicated, in exclusive statements for the seventh day, that the country is affected by an air depression in the upper atmosphere, which works to multiply low and medium clouds, which in turn block the sun’s rays and help you feel the temperature drop.
He explained that the country is seeing pleasant weather during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, northwestern coasts and northern Upper Egypt, moderate heat on northeastern coasts, hot in southern Sinai and Upper Southern Egypt and cold at night in all parts .
Regarding the chance of rain, he indicated that the country is seeing a chance of light rain at night in Greater Cairo with an incidence of 20%, chance of light rain on the Northwest coasts with a 30% incidence, and chance of light rains which are moderate in the South Sinai and Red Sea mountain ranges with an incidence of 40%, and light rains in northern and southern Upper Egypt, with an incidence of 30%.
He stressed that the chances of rain for tomorrow, Tuesday, will continue to be light to moderate and thunderstorms sometimes over the Red Sea and Red Sea mountain ranges, but will be light over the northern coasts and north of Lower Egypt and will not be affected.
And he explained that with tomorrow, Tuesday, a slight increase in temperatures with moderation of wind speed and navigation, underlining that it is expected that with Wednesday the rain will subside, the meteorological conditions will stabilize and the shaboura will reappear.
As for temperatures, today, Monday: Cairo, maximum 22 degrees and minimum 15 degrees, Alexandria maximum 22 degrees and minimum 15 degrees, Matrouh maximum 22 degrees and minimum 14 degrees, Sohag maximum 24 degrees and minimum 13 degrees, Qena maximum 25 degrees and low 14 degrees, Aswan high 28 degrees and the lowest is 15 degrees.
