Meteorologists Predicting Up to 30 Degrees and Bright Sun for Eastern Norway

(Avisa Oslo/Nettavisen): The meteorologists are reporting up to 30 degrees and bright sun for Eastern Norway, if we look as far as June 12 and 13 at Yr.no.

Now the weather forecasters are still coming with a small cold shower, and are asking people to expect that, for example, Oslo will not become completely the South any time soon:

– There is a tendency for the temperature to increase over the long term. We have seen in the past that as it approaches, the temperatures drop a little – when several forecasts are run. The one who is out on Yr now may be a little too much. I think we can have some ice in our stomachs and see how high it gets, begins meteorologist on duty Espen Biseth Granan at the Meteorological Institute opposite Oslo newspaper.

Hot

It is not so long ago that it was towards the end of May warned of southern temperatures in Oslo, without it quite happening. But next week will be warm, the meteorologist is pretty sure of that:

– But what seems certain is that the temperature for the week will mostly be above 20 degrees. Then there is the question of how high above we get. It is possibly a favorable build-up of high pressure from Sweden which means that we can get warm air, and that it contributes to an increase in temperature, says Granan about the Oslo weather.

The rest of the country

It may get hot in several places in Eastern Norway in the future – not just in Oslo. Both Lillehammer, Skien and Nesbyen is predicted to experience 29 degrees sometime during the next ten days.

For the rest of the country, the forecasts are not as bleak. Kristiansand is around 3-4 degrees colder than Eastern Norway in the long-term forecast, with 25 degrees on Monday 12 June as the high point.

The city with sunshine and summer in abundance, Bergen, has reported 23 degrees on Tuesday 13 June as the maximum temperature. A bright spot for the people of Bergen is, however, that not a drop of rain is forecast here for the next ten days.

Trondheim on the other hand, it may possibly get a little rain on Tuesday, but otherwise it is dry here too. Trønder has a few slightly muggy days ahead, with maximum temperatures as low as 11 degrees on Monday and Tuesday, but already on Saturday you can enjoy an outdoor beer on Solsiden, with 24 degrees predicted.

For Bodø and Tromsø is not completely short weather yet, with 14 and 13 degrees respectively as the warmest forecast for the next 10 days.
