The La Niña phenomenon continues to affect the country, after the Chilean Meteorological Directorate issued two important alerts, due to a new summer storm and with high temperatures, which will affect the central area of the country from this Wednesday.
It should be remembered that this Monday, The National Emergency Office (Onemi) declared Preventive Early Warning for 10 communes in the Metropolitan Region before a warning of possible electrical storms.
Colina, Vitacura, Las Condes, La Reina, Lo Barnechea, Peñalolén, La Florida, Puente Alto, San José de Maipo and Pirque maintain this state on Wednesday, where also MeteoChile added another.
First is the alert for possible electrical storms this Wednesday and Thursday from the regions of Coquimbo to La Araucanía, where the foothills could receive high altitude rains, generating concern in the authorities.
