Metapán, the current champion of the Major Basketball League, demonstrated its quality in an exciting confrontation against Salvadoreños at the Inclusive Sports City. With this 74-88 victory, the Caleros achieved their fourth victory in the 2024 Apertura Tournament and are now in second place in the table, consolidating their position as one of the main contenders for the title.

On the other hand, Salvadoreños suffered their second consecutive defeat, which highlights the need for adjustments for the team in the upcoming matches.

In the first quarter, Metapán took control of the game with a solid defense and an effective attack, achieving an 18-26 advantage over Salvadoreños.
