The move is quite surprising because it was made at a favorable moment for the team. Hutnik looks solid in this round, won the last two games, increased the advantage over the relegation zone to six points.

The sports director of the club, Leszek Janiczak, explains the change as follows: – Each match ahead of us is a match “for life”. And we needed a man who, above all, is an analyst. Łukasz came to work out the opponents well together with the first coach. And that was the main reason for this movement.

Przemysław Antoniak, Hutnik’s alumnus and his football player for many years, started this season as an assistant coach to Andrzej Paszkiewicz. When Bobla took over the team in early October 2022, Antoniak remained in his role. Now, however, the situation has changed.

– Przemek was not an analyst. He was rather a coach of motor preparation, which is also what our first coach specializes in. He has more experience in this field than many motor preparation trainers. And we needed an analyst – argues Janiczak, adding: – Przemek remains at the club as a coach of motor preparation at the academy.

Łukasz Woźniak, as Hutnik reminds in the communication about the changes, “in the past he has already cooperated with the first team of the Nowa Huta Duma as an analyst and served as a coach at the steelworks academy”. He has also worked as an analyst with Stal Rzeszów, Puszcza Niepołomice, Korona Kielce.

Leszek Janiczak: – We will slowly prepare the staff for the new season, but for now the most important are the upcoming matches.

Woźniak in the staff of Hutnik will appear for the first time during the meeting with Górnik Polkowice – on Saturday, April 22 at. 16, at the stadium in Nowa Huta. Among the players, Sławomir Chmiel will be absent, who has to pause for yellow cards. “But all the players are healthy, that’s important,” says the sporting director.
