“72 Seasons” will be the band’s first studio album in seven years and is scheduled for release on April 14, 2023. The album will feature 12 compositions.
The group also announced an ambitious worldwide concert tour “M72 World Tour”. It will start on April 27, 2023 in Amsterdam and end on September 29, 2024 in Mexico City. The concerts closest to Latvia will be held on June 7 and 9, 2024 in Helsinki, as well as on July 5 and 7 in Warsaw.
After the prolific 80s and early 90s with such gems as ‘Kill ‘Em All’, ‘Ride the Lightning’, ‘Master of Puppets’, ‘…And Justice for All’ and ‘Metallica’, the band hasn’t spoiled their fans much — since 1997’s “Reload” only 3 studio albums have seen the light of day.
