Japanese company Konami today on PC and consoles published a collection of older parts Metal Gear Solid series. Named Metal Gear Solid – Master Collection Volume 1, the bundle specifically includes Metal Gear Solid: Integral, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistance, including their additional content. In addition to these three parts, the collection also includes the games Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, with which the brand began its journey more than thirty years ago.
Metal Gear Solid – Master Collection Volume 1 primarily allows the aforementioned titles to run on current gaming platforms, led by PC (Steam) and PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch consoles. You can see the newly published one above in the preview launch trailer, which commemorates the release of this collection. Below you will then find a clear table that is dedicated to technical details of individual versions led by resolution and framerate.
Konami is currently also working on a full-fledged remake of the game in cooperation with the Chinese company Virtuos Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eaterwhich does not yet have a set release date.
