Konami released Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 and as it should be, she celebrated it with a launch trailer. Meanwhile, the developers have promised the first update to fix bugs and issues.
Collection Vol. 1 includes Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. It is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch.
Although a lot of players sputtered and wrote that the collection put them off, some are pleasantly surprised. The developers finally worked on keyboard and mouse support on PC. Up to the third part, the collection supports keyboard and mouse. Snake Eater offers only partial mouse support. Despite this, Konami states that you will have the best experience when playing with a controller.
The collection on Steam is gaining poor user rating due to native 720p resolution. Players also complain about the absence of any graphics options, including a fps limiter and virtually unusable controls on the mouse and keyboard.
The very name of the collection suggests that we will see a second volume with additional works in the future. Dataminer in the first collection discovered clues about the fourth and fifth volumes. Well, at least these two can be planned by Konami.
Let us remind you that it is still being created Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a faithful remake of the original story and game design that evolves the gameplay with stunning visuals and a seamless user experience. At least that’s how Konami describes the remake of the trio.
