Konami allowed several media a first contact with Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 and Nintendo Life discovered new information that may surprise some players interested in this edition.
Second advanced by Nintendo LifeMetal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3 run at 720p as apparently Konami is working on direct ports of the 2012 HD Collection and not exactly new versions.
“We used the HD Collection versions for MGS2 and MGS3 in the ports, so the resolution (720p) and performance will be the same as that 2012 HD Collection,” Konami told Nintendo Life.
In the case of the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, the games will run at 60fps, but on the Nintendo Switch they run at 30fps and according to the information obtained in the game session, it is possible to read the information “©2012 Konami” in the menus, suggesting that we are dealing with ports direct.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 arrives October 24th.
