“Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Remake Announced – Faithful Remake with Original Voice Cast Confirmed”

Yesterday on PlayStation Showcase was announced remake Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, in which the number three replaced a letter from the Greek alphabet. It didn’t take long for the official Metal Gear Twitter account to explain the reasons.

“The Delta (Δ) symbol was chosen because its meaning corresponds to the remake concept. Delta means change or difference without change in structure,” they explain authors.

In a press release, Konami then stated that it will be a faithful remake of the original story and game design. The remake is meant to evolve the gameplay with stunning visuals and a seamless user experience.

Fans can rejoice. Konami has confirmed the return of the original character voices. The original trio had an excellent cast, from Lori Alan as The Boss to David Hayter as Naked Snake. The only question is whether the original voice actors will return to record their lines in a modern way, or if Konami will just use the voice lines from the original game and remaster them.

Another question answered is the development team. Although… The latter consists of Konami’s internal team with support from the studio virtuoso. No further details were given.
