Meta tries to lure popular creators to Facebook and Instagram with new ways to make money. For example, there will be a virtual marketplace where influencers and brands can find each other for sponsored videos. That is (as is more the case with Instagram and Facebook) quite similar to what Tiktok is already doing with its own Creator Marketplace. Meta also promises that makers will be able to keep the entire proceeds from events and fan subscriptions for themselves until at least 2024. (dod)
