Meta Launches New Feature for Threads: See Your Liked Posts

Meta announced – today, Tuesday – the launch of a new feature for the text social networking service “Threads”, which allows users to see the posts they liked.

And this company had already started testing this feature in the “Android” system last week, but now decided to launch it to all users.

She explained that users can find the publications that they liked, through the profile page, and they can also access what they liked on the “X” platform (Twitter – previously) through a separate tab (Likes) on the same page.

Meta also launched a new multimedia quality option uploaded to the platform. In addition, Threads now allows users to sort their Watch List as Newest First or Oldest First.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that these updates “may seem small to the application, but some of the most requested features, such as: searching for publications, a web version of the platform.”

Zuckerberg had launched “Threads” on July 5, 2023, noting that the app owned by “Meta” recorded 5 million subscriptions in the first 4 hours.

This application is very similar to “X” in that it allows placing short text posts that users can like, repost and reply to, but it does not include any capabilities to send direct messages.

Posts can be up to 500 characters long and include links, photos and videos up to 5 minutes long.
