Incendio Supremacy exceeded many expectations about the M4.
Incendio Supremacy is the biggest surprise of the M4 World Championship. The Turkish team managed to qualify for the round of 16 and aborted MPL champion MY Team HAQ in the lower round.
Incendio Supremacy’s brilliant performance has actually been seen since the group stage. They are the only team aside from ONIC Esports that has managed to defeat Falcon Esports.
Aside from that, Blacklist International was twice made difficult and giddy over seven rounds before finally winning comebacks in the two games played.
Incendio has also been in the spotlight for its gameplay which is clearly inspired by META UBE Blacklist International. In fact, they are the team that uses Estes more often than Blacklist itself in M4.
Incendio Supremacy beat Team HAQ with META UBE
Believe it or not, if you retrace the match against Team HAQ, Incendio really delivered on the UBE strategy with a choice of heroes that were also very similar to the heroes from Blacklist.
They really practiced META perfectly by picking up UBE. After the match, the assistant coach, Badgalseph said he did it on purpose.
“We used that strategy because we know our opponents like to use assassins. The optimal way to combat it is to use this META,” she said.
Incendio Supremacy’s midlaner mainstay Rosa admitted that she was very inspired by the Blacklist because she has been a fan of this team for a long time, it is no surprise that they have been able to put META UBE to good use. In fact, she hopes to join the Blacklist if given the chance.
“Before I came here, I was a big fan of Blacklist International and often watched the gameplay of Hadji. I learn and try to implement it here,” Rosa explained exclusively to ONE Esports.
“If there is an opportunity, I would like to join Blacklist International. I like their gameplay and feel comfortable playing here. I really love OHMYV33NUS,” she added.
Incendio Supremacy’s META Iguana weapon
Perhaps most striking of Incendio when he beat Team HAQ with TARGET KILLED-his. But the thing is, they have multiple METAs and they don’t stick to it.
Apex47 and Alien have very large hero pools in regards to roamers and EXP Laners. This makes the game options even wider. Tienzy is also a jungler who can play tanks, fighters and assassins.
This factor causes Incendio to have a variety of gameplay that is believed to have been learned on the M4 this time around. META Iguana is more suitable for them.
“We made a lot of mistakes on the M4. But we improve it over time and keep training hard to reach the best point,” Rosa said.
“We can’t go wrong anymore because we are on the low end. We have to be very serious. This is an amazing place to encourage us to give our all,” she concluded.
