JAKARTA, celebrities.id – Meta reportedly canceled to develop a special operating system for virtual reality (VR) headsets. Company led by Mark Zuckerberg it will use the existing operating system.
The news comes from a report by The Information (paywall). In the report it is stated that Meta will later use the operating system Android for the VR headset.
The use of the Android operating system itself is not without reason. This is because of the flexibility and open source nature of Android which over the years has proven successful across a wide range of devices.
But this is all not recognized by Meta. Meta spokeswoman Sheeva Slovan has also argued that she remains committed to building a highly specialized system.
