Meta has been improving the safety and security of Messenger. Users demand more from this service and that conversations are truly private. This comes with encrypted conversations, something that happens naturally. Now there are improvements to be made to these same conversations.
- conversation topics: Added conversation themes to help customize and enhance conversations. You can now set themes, including static colors and gradient themes, for end-to-end encrypted conversations.
- Emojis and custom conversation reactions: If you want to customize your responses, you can view the full menu of emoji reactions and customize the quick reaction tray in end-to-end encrypted conversations.
- group profile photos: You can choose group profile pictures for different conversations with friends or co-workers.
- Link Views: The views of these links have been rebuilt in these scenarios, so you can see where a link is taking the user, before clicking.
- active status: Allows people to see when the user is active and to know when is a good time to call. You can also choose to disable this feature if you want to improve your privacy.
- Bubbles no Android: Bubbles (a circle with your friend's photo) lets you read and reply to messages while using other apps. Once activated, a balloon will appear when you receive a new message.
These are novelties that were already known from the most exposed conversations, but that are now being transferred. They are incorporated naturally and without users having to activate or accept any option present.
