The same smartwatch project workers have been involved with Meta’s smart display maker Portal, which launched in 2018 but has since shut down.
The Portal line has been – and continues to be – sold only abroad, but has not met with public approval. Sales will continue while supplies last, with no prediction of how much more Meta will support.
