The next Met Gala charity ball took place in New York, where celebrities traditionally come in extravagant outfits. This time, his main motive was the story Garden of Time, written by the English writer James Ballard in 1962.
The Met Gala theme also coincides with the opening of the exhibition “Sleeping Beauties: The Awakening of Fashion” at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which will run there until September 2.
Most stars took the garden theme literally, sporting flowers, petals, branches and leaves on their outfits.

About 400 guests were invited to the charity ball. The entrance ticket to this event costs 50 thousand dollars, and the price for a table starts at 300 thousand.
This year’s Met Gala co-chairs along with Anna Wintour were American actress Zendaya, singer Jennifer Lopez, Australian actor Chris Hemsworth and rapper Bad Bunny.
The event was sponsored by the social network TikTok, despite ongoing pressure from American lawmakers to ban it in the United States.
