To stay in tune, Roger Federer was in black and white, the emblematic colors of Chanel, sporting a Dior Homme tuxedo. On his arm, his wife, Mirka, wore a pink Valentino dress decorated with feathers. She was not the only one to apply the “dress code” to the letter. Anna Wintour appeared in a coat-dress entirely embroidered with cats from the Chanel haute couture spring-summer 2023 collection, Penélope Cruz wore a vintage Chanel dress from the spring-summer 1988 haute couture collection. Dua Lipa, too, had delved into the house’s archives and donned a dress from the fall-winter 1992 haute couture collection, while Michaela Coel made her appearance in a golden jewel dress by Schiaparelli.
