Lionel Messi’s publication is several million likes ahead of the joint photo with Cristiano Ronaldo, posted on the Portuguese social network, but loses photos of the egg

The post of the leader of the Argentine national team, Lionel Messi, after winning the World Cup in Qatar, scored the record figure of 45 million likes for an athlete on Instagram (owned by Meta Platforms, the Tverskoy Court in Moscow recognized the company as an extremist and banned its activities), in shape Italian edition of Tuttosport.
Messi has posted ten photos from the final match and award ceremony.
The Argentine’s post received more likes than a post by Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo with a photo of him playing chess with Messi (41.96 million likes).
The most likes, over 56 million, on the social network belong to the photo of the egg from the World Record Egg page. The page’s only post was published in January 2019 to set the world record for likes.
Messi scored two goals the final World Cup with the French, and also makes his attempt on penalties.
Portugal national team completed performance in Qatar at the quarter-final stage.
