Lionel Messi managed to lead Argentina to the championship World Cup 2022. Here is a string of records Messi helped create to go along with this success.

Messi scored twice in Argentina’s successful defeat to France at the top of the 2022 World Cup. The Albiceleste ended France’s hold on penalties.

In the penalty shootout, Messi was also able to perform his duties as an executor well. Argentina won with a score of 4-2.

Behind Messi’s success in leading Argentina to the World Cup, a number of records have been created.

5. Messi scored a total of 26 goals between the World Cup and the Copa America. He managed to surpass the record belonging to the Brazilian legend Ronaldo.
