Paris Saint-Germain’s Argentine striker Lionel Messi has set the record for most goals scored in Europe’s top five leagues.
Messi scored the ball in the 59th minute of the match against Strasbourg in the 37th round of the French championship. This goal was his 496th in the top five European championships. Previously, the record was held by the Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 495 goals.
